Meet the Peer Tutors

"Hello and Welcome to the NSTAMP Peer Tutoring (PT) site. My name is Sharif Opoku and I am the Peer Tutoring Coordinator. I am a final year 2021 BScN candidate and I hope to pursue medical/surgical nursing with an interest in oncology and multi-organ transplant nursing. A fun fact about me is that I learned how to swim in Grade 10! (a little late I think ). Peer tutoring is a free, peer-to-peer service in which upper-year students who have excelled in a course(s) share learning strategies and other study tips to assist tutees understand topics or concepts that most students find challenging in a course. The aim of peer tutoring is to empower students to develop strong study habits and skills that enables them to be successful throughout their academic career. The peer tutors are excited to connect with you and support you. Please visit our PT schedule for more information on how to access peer tutoring."
