Peer Mentoring

The Peer Mentorship Program connects upper-year students to first-year and transfer students to help them transition into university, and connects graduate students and alumni to upper-level students to guide and provide advice about post-graduation career choices. Peer Mentors also provide incoming nursing students with guidance and useful tools for being successful throughout their time at York.

A Message from our Peer Mentor Coordinator:

Tiffany Tran, 2021/2022 Peer Mentor Coordinator

Hi everyone! My name is Tiffany Tran and I am the peer mentor coordinator for NSTAMP this year. I am going into my final year of the collaborative nursing program with Seneca College. I hope to work in Acute Care Nursing in either the Emergency Room or the ICU!  Peer Mentors will interact with incoming and existing students to ensure their student success and mental well-being during a time where there are constant changes and transitions.

We hope that each student will be able to meet other students like themselves through weekly Zoom meetings with icebreaker activities, games and YorkU resource information.
