Selini Jayawickrema
Hi folks, my name is Selini and I’m a 4th year student in the collaborative BScN program and President of NSTAMP! My nursing interests include acute care, clinical research, artificial intelligence in healthcare, public health, and emergency nursing.
This past year I have been working as a clinical extern on a neurology floor which has been a very rewarding experience and a nice change in pace from the online learning environment.
In my free time I work as a badminton instructor and as a mentor with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Peel. I enjoy baking desserts, watching professional Valorant tournaments, listening to 90s/2000s RnB, and spending time in nature.
Two fun facts about me are that I was born in Sri Lanka and have 2 Bengal cats.
