About the Lab Facilitation Program
The NSC is located on the 3rd floor of the Health, Nursing and Environmental StudiesĀ Building (HNES) and serves all nursing students. The 5000-square-foot NSC is divided into two unique spaces; the Nursing Skills Lab and the ComputerSkills Lab.Students in York University's undergraduate and graduate nursing programs can access the Nursing Simulation Centre (NSC) to support their professional development and learning needs.
What do Lab Facilitators do?
- Lab facilitators plan and host clinical labs skills, develop simulations, provide basic nursing skills practice and give out visual aids all with the help of the nursing lab
- Facilitate clinical workshops and tutoring sessions for students
- Answer Emails: Respond to concerns or queries related to clinical skills
- Hold bi-Weekly virtual Lab facilitations on Zoom
